Is the latest build of BootNTR CIA also updated (the link in the readme)?

Also, is the official build more stable than this "speedfly edition"?

@Aroth can u upload and share the compiled copy?

downloaded the stuff from the GIT still says FW not supported

N3DS Reinand 10,3

The build in the readme IS the "updated build". the CRC32 hash for BootNTR.cia from the readme link and from the BootNTR.cia I build from the updated source are identical.

And I still get the same error message on Reinand 10.3. Gonna try with GW since its a different kernel version.

My version I posted before is already the updated version.

You mean the "speedfly" one? Its not the same dude.
CRC is different, and no offense, but I am not gonna try some .cia from some chinese site. I will wait for the official git for BootNTR to get updated.

I just built the latest source myself, works fine in Reinand (EUR n3ds).
Also, a little racist there are we? You do know cell9 is chinese right? (if I'm remembering correctly, which I'm pretty sure i am)...

Meh, it's updated and works, I'm happy. :)

So it looks like the build on the git works for GW (and probably cakes since they use the same kernel version) but not Reinand.

Its that the link originated on some chinese site that I can't read and common sense tells me not to trust sites I can't read. Not to mention BootNTR was the problem, not NTR itself, and BootNTR is not cell9 last I checked.

And now it works on reinand.... maybe I just needed to reboot first?

BootNTR is the only thing that needs updating, you use the same NTR.bin

BootNTR has definitely been updated, as of about one hour ago.

Umm ok...the common sense part i get.
And look at the OP... BootNTR / NTRCFW / whatever you wanna call it IS cell9...

Yeah, but its still unstable as fuck. At least on reinand.

Three attempts netted the following with reinand:

"current firmware not supported"
a "success" followed by an error when i pressed HOME
"current firmware not supported"

Gateway however seemed to work fine.

BootNTR and NTR CFW are not the same thing, you DO know that right?

BootNTR is just a cia launcher made by a third party to boot NTR.bin from inside emunand, which cell9 originally refused to provide support for.

Worked fine on the fourth attempted. Seems the official build is just highly unstable.

btw, anyone have any idea what "BootNTR-Mode3.cia" is for?
