people, just shove a potato in it, not a moderator here, but seeing as this is the first actually interesting and informative post in this subforum in what felt like ages to me, i will start reporting every off-topic/sea-fight post that comes here from this post on out.

Both pirates and non-pirates have valid, mostly personal reasons to act their way, the forum also has mixed opinions on it, which is nice and clearly reflected in the rules.
And while every half-serious person who frequently visits this forum got that,
there are still some idiots who need to tell the others why they are "worse",
just lowering themselves to their level without even thinking twice about it, and before you know it a thread just turned to garbage from this stuff...
(And before anyone asks, i am blatantly telling you that i am a pirate for most things, carefully balancing out whether or not i can afford something and whether or not it is actually worth buying it for me "right at that moment", and on some occasions even buying something that impressed me for the sheer appreciation for it or at least for the ability to update it easily/play multiplayer/use it unrestricted in general after using it for some time.
Am i totally right with my way of doing it? Probably not, but before you feel tempted to actually answer this totally hypothetical question, DON'T!)

EDIT: If you really feel the need to tell someone about your shat, there also is such a thing called "Private Conversations" for that on this forum btw. There you can go as off-topic and haywire as you wish...

If you're running Windows you could install WAMP (Windows Apache Mysql PHP).

And If you're running Linux you could install LAMP (Linux Apache Mysql PHP).

After that move your content to the www folder and enter the url http://localhost/nameofthephpfile.php
