Just as a heads up, an earlier post didn't know how to do this, but if you boot into gateway mode, then boot into ntr via bootntr, you CAN use gateway and ntr at the same time. Whether one will work nicely with the other is situational, but it does work.

No, the address is 3646B24C. Writing to address 2646B24C would not work. Just forget about the first digit of the code, it's never part of the address. It denotes code type, ie. what the line actually does.

Code type 3 is a conditional code, it compares two values. Your practice code shouldn't work as it doesn't actually write anything, it does a comparison then it's over.

2) The offsets change like every few days anyway (and differ between o3ds and n3ds) so there's no point in making a cheat code.

I didn't play badge arcade yesterday but I did just now and the offsets changed again (along with adding cool new app launcher badges!).

USA N3DS Practice: 368227DC
USA N3DS Free play: 364686CC

The trick is to go into the practice catcher and begin an exact 8 bit search for 5 as soon as you get your 5 free plays.

Then use a free play, and after it changes to 4, search for 4.

etc, etc... on USA N3DS it is always the address (so far) that begins with 36.

Get at least 40 practice badges before you change it to 1 and then use the final 1. You will get at least 4 free plays (1 for every 10 practice badges)

That is enough to begin your free plays and do the same thing again. (so far this has also been the address that begins with 36 on a USA N3DS).

WTF are you talking about there's no point in making a cheat code? The point is to be able to get all the new shit each time the offsets change. You say that and then give a detailed explanation about how to find cheat codes.

I didn't post a code, I posted an address. Your code contained the same address encoded within its two lines.

Your 'real' code does an 8bit write to the address 3646B24C, so your real code will work.

Your practice code checks if the value at address 3682535C is greater than 5, but it doesn't contain a code line that would actually alter the value.

I see. That makes a bit more sense, but why did yesterday's practice code work?

Why? It takes a long time to search for the codes, then rack up enough plays for the real catcher to find those codes. I would rather people shared them on here when they find them, even if it means updates every several days.

If anyone can suggest a better method for keeping codes updated then I'm all ears.

I'm attempting to make it clear in my mind and for most people by doing an excel

I understood that there is a common base and it's only numbers of adresses
Why not recap it and put it in a excel file to be able to change it quick for everyone ?
The only thing in the post will be numbers and via a quick modification, all we have to do is copy the new cheat in a file
