So progress of a sort. Using the one I compiled myself, I was able to reach the "press start" screen with reiNand.dat and a bootmanager, but all i get after is black nothingness.

If I update my n3ds emunand to 10.3 for ReiNand, will I still be able to use my gateway red card?

Nope, not till gateway updates their own code.

If you're having trouble getting past the "Press Start to Boot", make sure your firmware.bin is updated.

The md5 should be 58f906da282894a525fccfeddf5aa11c.

Ya i just checked 5 firmware.bin files for that md5. No luck. Can anyone PM me a link or something?

And after a few reboots, I get my glorious homemenu. Now to see if it will update and still work.

Btw, DS flashcarts no longer work because the v11264 revision of the whitelist was reinstalled with the update (it was added to the SOAP reply for N3DS in 9.7, so...) Reinstalling bluecardfix.cia SHOULD resolve this, but I have heard rumors that downgrading the Whitelist like that prompts the system to ask you to update again.

edit:

Just reinstalled bluecardfix.cia and the GW Blue Cart works perfectly again.. Did have to use DevMenu though because its considered a "downgrade" now.

Um, looks like downgrading the DS Cart Whitelist forces the system to prompt for updates again.

Accidentally went into system transfer (was going to see what happened if I tried to update again) and it said I had to update first.

Same going into the eshop.

Gonna see if FMP's nim patch still bypasses this.

FMP launches at least, and I can tell it to apply the patch without any errors.

Attempting to access the eshop afterwords meets with no error messages. Looks like FMP works and will bypass the update message if you downgrade the whitelist.

Wonder if someone can patch the old whitelist to report as v11264 (0x2c00) and if so, would that satisfy the nim check?

flashcardtimewarp would probably prevent those issues as it is spoofed to max version

As opposed to bluecardfix which appears to just be the v0 revision of the whitelist?

Most people use hax 2.5 (homebrew laucnher count as one) to boot ReiNAND, so yes, that should work. Not many use MSET explott anymore.

hmmm..i have 2.1 working and it fails on a red screen after selecting reinand. I tried 2.5 and it fails in the same way. I'm launching yellows8 homebrew launcher cia from rxtools.

yeah bluecardfix is more "legit" but it downgrades the title, flashcardtimewarp.cia will downgrade/spoof title version to the highest version possible which means
A) it wont get updated every time you update emunand and
B) the system *shouldn't* complain that updates are available
