How can I play Smash bros brawl in vWii mode with a GC pad?
Official NGC adapter doesn't work in vwii...

As far as I know, you can't. That is, unless you get one of those Classic Controller->GC adapters.

That's one of its purposes, yes, but iirc it has other features too. GC backwards compatibility works through vWii mode, but you still need to plug in a GameCube controller to play them. To do that, they needed to add GC adapter support for vWii mode.

Basing this from memory as I don't have Nintendon't.
