I dont know what you would pay for them, but I live in NZ, http://www.trademe.co.nz/gaming/nintendo-wii/accessories/auction-1013964620.htm
Here the nunchucks are 10$ (non offical brand) thats $6.54US

P.S. Wouldnt buy from that link and not even sure if people outside NZ can see it but its normally NZ only. Im sure they will be cheaper on Ebay or Amazon and such tho.

It depends how many players you want, and what games as to if you need them. Maybe just get it all working first then get controllers as you need them?

Hmm okay. Would be great if someone can confirm this that the Wii remote plus works perfectly with vWii?

I think it works for games and such just not 100% on it during the installation of homebrew. But yea if someone could confirm that.

Gamepad only acts as a screen for vWii. You cant use it as a controller. At least not yet, maybe after IOSU release but for now its only a screen and ir sensor

Uhm so what can you use in vWii mode? Wii remote plus, Wii remote?

Last edited by Xalyy,
vWii is like a wii, you can use anything that a normal unmodded wii can use.
So Wii remote plus, wii remote, nunchuck, wii classic controllers, the microphone for the games that use them.

You only get the additional controllers while in apps that support them like Nintendont (because you are no longer in vWii but rather now in a GC emulator)

Sorry if this is confusing.

Ohh okay.

Looks like this is the downfall if you want to play Wii U Wii and GC games at the same time and with friends. Like lets say if I want to go to a friend and play in two player. I have to bring: Wii U, cables, a laptop to boot up the loadiine server, Wii U gamepad, Wii U pro controller, atleast SSB Wii U and this all just on the Wii U side. Now for Wii, then Wii remote plus and nunchuck 2 sets. For GC 1 or 2 Ps4 controller ohh and an Ext HDD (Gladly its 2.5 inch hdd)
So I dont know if I am right but if you want to play at your friend you have to bring a 100 stuff :wtf:

mostly correct
but for nintendont support, it is better to read and ask in the "official" nintendont thread sticky here especially the first post.

1. XBOX360 is not supported
2. IIRC, only one HID (USB) controller at a time is supported, you can however, use 1 HID and the rest with wiimotes and bluetooth controllers.
3. many Wii homebrew do not support Wii-motion plus. A few Wii games won't work with Wii-motion plus. A few Wii games (like Skyward Sword) won't work without Wii-motion plus.

Hmm okay then thanks!

Okay hold me guys the wii u just came and so far the serial number is: FEM11062 so is all hope is lost? my guess is that its above 5.3.2.
Thou it was an unopened box. I could see it on the cardboard.

Frack yea

vWii can be hacked irregardless of WiiU firmware version (until now that is, not sure about the future)
