So I notice that EmuNAND's date/time doesn't update if it isn't running. Is there a homebrew.cia I can run that can update date+time either manually or via internet which does not require me to enter system settings and reboot? I think that would make playing time-based games like Animal Crossing a lot less... tedious.

In my house we have a hacked N3DS, a hacked 3DS, a hacked 3DS XL and 2 hacked 2DS, 4 of those systems have unlinked nands, N3DS is the only one with nands linked.

But in all of them emunand keeps the time just fine, seems like you are having some unique issue here.

Which is strange because I'm noticing a pattern here, seems like people with recent downgrades are experiencing all kind of issues/bugs never reported in the past.

Like the guy that has emunand formatted but rxTools always tells him emunand does not exist...

i actually would like a homebrew that will sync/set my time of the sysnand+emunand together.
it must be stored in a file somewhere, any ideas?
use NTP or something so we can get the exact time without having to manually set it would be nice too.

If you can find it you can use the config app from Nintendo's dev kit in either .3ds or .cia form. I'm pretty sure you can quit via the home button.

Yeah. It certainly sounds like there is a LOT more going on than we realize. One thing I do know is that the full cia update package for 10.3 (for example) has 110 titles, while the 9.5 packages has 105, and the 9.0 package has 102. I am wondering if maybe some of the downgraders being used are not unstalling titles that were included with newer updates that did not exist in the one being downgraded to.

edit:

Those are the N3DS package title counts btw, not O3DS.

Yeah downgrading has some really strange issues.

For anyone wanting to look into this: I'm using the Happy Home Designer N3DS non-XL, from 10.3.0-28U down to 9.2(Full)_n3ds.zip (iso site) using tux's sysupdater build in homemenuhax, no FTBrony. Using the 4gb that came with my N3DS. Rxtools (dunno which version but definitely a nightly) on 9.5 spoofing NVER/TIGER for 10.3

Apparently KTM will have cleanup features, so will uninstall CIA not on 9.2... Another reason to wait for n3ds owners

Assuming he bothers to finish it. I get the feeling that he might be getting ready to scrap it. Between the stresses and issues of coding it, all the assholes that accuse him of being a fraud and the fact that we already have two versions of syupdater that can downgrade I can't exactly say I blame him. Especially with Nintendo likely pushing 10.4 on Tuesday.
