Thanks a lot. I assume you are using a o3DS?
The offset is different for N3DS (the first 2 bytes) so here's the cheat for that:

N3DS EU

I think this offset will change again of theres a new set of badges, next week or so. But lets wait and see

The code works fine, interesting to know that it is simply one 0x10 addresses down to the real plays. since the offset between the trial plays and real plays seems to be always 0x3BA110, we can assume the unlock address is 0x3BA111 down from the number of practice plays.

Now all we need to do is find the pointer in the RAM dump that points to that adress.

Ok im kinda losing it can someone post a code for the Gateway cheat menu that's working right now on a US N3DS. Nothing I try is working and yes the cheat files are on the red card.

o3ds and n3ds address are different and
you need to be on the same game version and same region for the cheats to work, strangely people don't post which game version the cheats are for

despite i have a EU N3DS xl, i cannot make the code work. pressing L+UP in the "hall" and in the real catcher of badge arcade does nothing..am i supposed to use it in another way?

You go into the real catcher, then press L+Up. It should make a sound as if you were outing money into the machine and you'll get 5 plays. each button combo will reset the counter to five

Ok im in the badge catcher opened the menu with start+select activated the cheat for L+UP, exited the menu, pressed L+UP and... nothing. Im just cycling through the different levels the catcher does not release.

I copied the code into the text file in the cheats folder then hit L + Up at the real badge catcher.
