Not sure if this has been posted, but I found the values for the US version.

3286744C for the real plays,
32C2155C for practice.

There were always 2-3 values but the ones I pasted are THE ones that change the counter. Enjoy.

*goes to get every badge currently available*

Is this for o3ds?
How do I use those values?
I tried to edit the value you gave on the gateway hex editor but it didn't work
sorry I'm a noob at this stuff

Not sure if everybody with the US version has been affected, but the offsets for the # of plays changed on both of my O3ds' this morning.

The new offsets I found were:

32C22D5C - Practice plays
32868C4C - Real plays
did the game got a new update before the address changed?

No, for US version, the address is not constant.
did the game got a new update before the address changed?
The badge catalog was updated (removed Zelda badges and added more Mario badges), so, like with Pokemon Shuffle, whenever the inventory/catalog changes/updates, the offset will change, at least for the US version.

So using an actual cheat file is useless then?

yes, that's what I thought
any kind of update might change the address

Not necessarily. The cheat file comes in handy still because you don't have to search for the address every time you play Badge Arcade. You only need to update the file when the catalog is updated and changes the location of the plays.

Not sure why it would matter between O3DS and N3DS, the game is the same on both isn't it?
But I have an O3DS.

As someone pointed out though, each week the location changes since the badge machine data itself is loaded into RAM too. So while it might be nice to share the addresses we discover, I don't think it'll be possible to get a "catch-all" filter for them. Probably the best way is to do exactly what OP did and just run the exact integer search as you go from 3 -> 2 -> 1 etc

Badge are only for >10.1 users so use emunand
Badges got implemented somewhere on 9.3-9.5(I don't know the exact version atm), but i'm using badges on my 9.5 emunand.
He still would need to use the emunand, but he could do it on his new 3DS using a cfw, with this information.

Cheating is easy for me, I've been doing it for years on a lot of different platforms (I started on the C64 back in the 80's). This isn't my problem.
Daft question... How do I get the Badge Arcade to run ?
I have it installed and every time I get a 'You need to update to run this' error. I've tried HANS and that threw a 'Cannot access the SD card' error. I'm using an N3DSL which came with firmware 9.2.0 and hasn't been upgraded ever.
I do have access to a 4.5 O3DSL that I can use if need be, but I'd prefer to use the N3DSL.

Any help would be appreciated.
Like HappyzLife said, you need to use the emunand to be able to use Badges, but you could do it on your 9.2 n3DS, simply update the emunand on it to 9.5 and install the latest nver to be able to use every service that uses the nnid(like badge arcade and the miiverse). If you are using the freeMultiPatcher too, you could also use the eshop and ingame dlc stores.

Really? I can't get mine to work on 9.5 Emunand O_o the badges don't show up when I go to the place badges menu

I actually got it sorted on 9.2.0 using the latest NVER. The N3DS had never been online before, so the NVER file was missing completely. I then ran it through HANS once and it's worked ever since. I haven't had to use HANS to boot it at all after the first time.

to use ar codes you have to pause a game and this feature is disabled in badge arcade :(
but...can i use em in games like pokemon super mystery dungeon? if so ,then HOW? i saw some codes for smd on the spider thread and i could create a qr code with em. now what?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

i heard of them , but never used them
there is also NTR.
wait, i can hack badge arcade with ntr!? i have ntr and the codes it has for pokemon super mystery dungeon are kinda useless 2 me.i want othr cheats for smd...

ntr might not support the high addresses that this cheat needs, maybe it does.
gw didn't support the high addresses at the start.
