So, hi GBAtemp!
I looked at Browserhax and while it's awesome and all, I thought it could be simpler.

I actually had an idea for something like the following when I first heard about homebrew coming to the 3DS - although there was no known browser exploit at the time so I shelved the idea.

Basically, JailbreakMii is a more user-friendly interface to Browserhax.

You simply visit the JailbreakMii website - http://3dshaxx.nonm.co.uk/ - on your 3DS and tap the massive button to do the thing.
The website is optimized for the 3DS browser so no scrolling required. It also looks pretty darn awesome, even if I do say so myself. On the New 3DS it also uses a webfont which makes the whole thing look even slicker.

It works like (and is based on the code of) Yellows8's Browserhax_auto page, except it tells you what haxx will be used beforehand.

I've tested this on my 10.3 New 3DS and it works fine, though on other systems, your mileage wil of course vary.

Happy haxxing, and if any issues come up that aren't normally present with Yellows8's browserhax_auto let me know. ;)

In case you were wondering, the name was inspired by a similar jailbreak for iOS a while back named JailbreakMe.

This is cool! But I already have themehax and iron hax set up so I don't think I'll be using it as my main entryway, but it's still cool!

Do you mean JailbreakMii or the Twitch thing? The Twitch thing uses the HTML5 video hardware decoding capabilities in the New 3DS browser. If someone manages to make a working H.264 video player that can handle 854x480 H.264 video and HLS that runs on the O3DS, then maybe something can happen ;)

I meant the twitch thing, it sucks that it dosent work.

I don't use browserhax but, wouldn't it be possible to automatically execute the exploit upon loading the page or is it necessary for a button to be pressed?

Right so I've implemented an automatic mode - go to http://3dshaxx.nonm.co.uk/auto.php on your 3DS, bookmark it, reboot the browser and do whatever the heck you want.

The exploit won't trigger for 20 seconds after you first load the page (the time is recorded in the URL) to allow you time to bookmark it and restart the browser and get off the page before the haxx triggers.

you should implement a 5 second countdown before you load browserhax on the non-auto loader too! I seem to get stuck on loading it if i dont wait 5 seconds.

This is nice and all but I really don't see the point of this outside of novelty uses.

It's Browserhax, but easier. ^.^

Why? The non-auto version doesn't load Browserhax until you press the big button.

If you tap it too soon you have to reboot because it gets stuck on the yellow screen. Probably because the website doesn't load browserhax fast enough. I realized if i wait 5 seconds it boots hombrew no problem so that's why i made the request for a countdown before you can press the button to make it noob friendly.
