Homebrew So is downgrading safe yet?

Worked on my n3DS.

There is always a small risk but I think that if you take every measures to prevent a brick, it should be ok.

Already informed and personally aware. I had made this mistake once before. Thanks! :D
Now I think you only brick fully if you download the incorrect region or console packs. With safe mode downgrading first, native firm last and one by one uninstall system, bringing ARM9 kernel to your 3DS has never been safer!

Define safe
Has a chance of not bricking your system.

Use this downgrader:
USE IT WITH YOUR OWN RISK!!!

this uses libkhax again. It should work(the last one works too, but it needs much times to launch)

sysUpdater doesn't give option to install certain parts first.

The sysupdater I linked above has all these nifty features.

Also, if you're downgrading a JAP N3DS, you need to take extra precautions.

That's not something I'd like to hear if I were to downgrade :P

To the OP, downgrading will never be "safe" unless you hardmod your console and backup your NAND. Right now, it is "safe" in the sense that you won't turn your 3DS into an expensive doorstop if you know what you're doing.
