Ah hah. At which point should I take out the card? Right after I launch FBI, or a few seconds after? I managed to goto the menu, but getting install errors

1 second after you launched FBI. Also, what install error are you getting? Can you make a screenshot?

If I want to remove a legit cia game from my download history so I can get it from the eshop officially how would I go about doing that?

I tried this method for 2 days.
Everytime the app said "DONE" => "freeze"

I have New 3ds (jap) 10.3.0-28(J) with Ninjhax menuhax and browserhax.

First try to run memchunkhax2, no problem if you get failed, but not freeze, just press start to back to HBL, now try to run FBI, and press any button to start navigate.

I was previously able to get it to work but since the first time haven't been able to I get this game error.

It's because you didn't get the ''Done'' line. Launch Homebrew through Menuhax then launch ftBrony. Quit with B and then go to FBI, access it and quickly eject your card but also spamming A at the same time. That's what I did.

I did exactly what you said. Also, got this "Map complete" freeze. Also, if this helps, I'm using a EUR 10.3 Old 3DS.

I am using Old 3DS too but mine is from USA.
Is your game cartridge a DS or a 3DS game?

So I have installed MH3 CIA using this method. Does it install the game onto the system memory as well as the SD card? So as i have multiple3ds and 2ds consoles, can i use the one sd card with the mh3 installed and insert it into any 3ds console to play the game? Or do i have to install the game through FBI for each console?

I'm on a USA old 3ds and have a 3ds game I'm having the same issues as the other guy. FBI is just super unstable and unreliable so we might have to wait for them to make it more stable.

After hundreds of tries later over the last 2 days, finally got some CIA installed on my N3DS XL 9.9.0.26U.
It works.. eventually. No voodoo magic or black magic helped me in this thread, it was literally just try and try.

The card-ejecting worked everytime for me though... I entered the FBI menu 5 times and successfully installed every CIA.
Don't give up though, you'll probably find a better method but the cartridge one is the best (at least for me). I could make a video for it but later maybe.

What entry point are you using? I originally used ironhax and that worked the first time to instead two cias but haven't been able to get that out menuhax to work a second time.

Make sure you have Wi-Fi turned on when you install Menuhax, that's what fixed the error for me.
