Homebrew How to install legit CIA files 9.3-10.3

Guys, I found the best and fastest way to do it on n3DS.

OK, bear with me here.

1. Move all your homebrew except FBI and memchunkhax2 into some other directory.
2. Install menuhax if you haven't.
3. Remove the battery cover.
4. Enter Homebrew Launcher through menuhax.
5. Enter FBI and spam A. (Skip to Step 8 if you succeeded)
6. Didn't work? Remove the battery (this will reset your time and date but this is the fastest method).
7. Repeat Steps 4-6.
8. If your input is botched (rarely detects button commands) be very careful.
9. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PUT YOUR 3DS ON A FLAT SURFACE TO AVOID ANY POSSIBILITIES OF THE BATTERY FALLING OUT DURING INSTALLATION.
10. Install all your CIAs.
11. You're basically done, put back on your battery cover, take your other homebrew in the other directory to their original location and do whatever you want with menuhax. Uninstall or leave as it is, that's up to you.

I got this working in 10 tries, installing a bunch of CIAs as we speak. Man, it pays off experimenting yourself without trying all these cancerous suggestions I've been seeing.

The funny part is, people need to experiment for themselves because every suggestion is cancerous. No 2 consoles act the same way, while one of my systems don't ever get past the "Cleaning up" line, my other system actually does get to "Done" but it either froze or has the glitched text.

Load fbi kept failing on cleaning up, hit a, got to fbi screen, press start reload to homebrew. tap fbi load again did same process 4 times the got fbi to load the done screen. Pressed a, then it was laggy took a few sec to register down or up arrow then installed super mario 2 g.e. and it works. Will try again after dl is done thanks mang !

Oh, mine appeared glitchy every time too. I think you have a few frames on every time you get "Done" before it locks up.

There's also that, some of your suggestions is also what worked for me, so I figured, if I do see that "Done", the method works, just have to keep trying.

Though I really hope there's a stable release soon(tm), I've had corrupt downloads and Mario Kart 7 was the only working download, which means I have to go through this whole process again if I want to install any other cia's lol...

I believe "Done" is the only time it can work. Cleaning up... is just false hope, and Map is Complete is just complete torture. Thankfully, for me this will be my penultimate time doing this. Just gotta install Pokes and MH4U maybe.

I was using gridlauncher as well and it worked
Look at my post a couple up. I never had to push the power button to restart. Just used the start button to go back to grid

I got it to work once with gridlauncher. Installed MK7.
Now a 100+ fail streak though :/

What do you mean by press the start button? Pressing that does nothing on my end ;p

Everytime I get past the Done screen, it either becomes unresponsive or there is extremely heavy lag on the inputs. I think it's the former

This is when you can install. Regardless of lag or not. Please tell me you did install.

If it says Invalid Signature your CIA is not legit, if it isn't that error though, I don't know what to tell you other than keep trying.

Screw it. I'm gonna downgrade to 9.2, install the legit CIA's and then upgrade back to 10.3.

Not really. Tempting to do, but no need to do so, SD card isn't big enough for the games I want.

I would say give it at least 20-30 seconds trying to input something before quitting.

Has anyone had trouble installing their cias once actually in FBI? I'm just curious, I installed the 8 I have and none of them gave me any grief, I've also managed to boot FBI twice (twice in 2 days, yeesh). I just didn't know if I got lucky.
