Anyone downgraded succesfully from 10.1 N3DS USA?

I just got it to work. So a format is mandatory for it to work the first time. I used julians latest build. Once everything installs you will get a rebooting in 10 seconds...but it wont reboot, so you have to manually do it. It will then work like it should

Yes! Successfully updated to 9.2U with latest libkhax version! e-Shop and System Settings are not gone as well!

Thanks folks just downgraded to 9.2.0-20E version on my first try everything went smooth and witouth issues. Now I just need to get menuhax back and install RxTools orsomething so I can install cia games.


Since I used a new SD card(32GB) compared to my old 4GB I believe it was asked her as wel but what about streetpass data? And other save Data thats saved on my old 4GB card? Can I just copy context or not?

No way to know until it happens. It shouldn't brick, but...

well noone has got their 3DS permabricked yet with his build, so it can be considered safe

Ok, so I've been trying to figure this out for a while now. Earlier I downgraded my Japanese 10.3 3DS to 9.00. After completing the downgrade, menuhax and browserhax have stopped working. My question is does browserhax support a 9.00J console? I'm trying to get back to the Homebrew Launcher. I've been reading possible solutions but none of them have worked. If I were to upgrade back to 10.3, everything would be working fine. Any suggestions?

When I did a format, I checked the card to see if everything was erased. Homebrew launcher and everything including the updates folder was present. So all I had to do was reinstall themehax and everything worked from there. I don't know about actual saves, those will probably be lost, along with your linked ID, so you would need to relink it. I hope this answers your question.

Wait, so a format is required to downgrade 10.1? Then what's the point if I have to lose my stuff? And why only 10.1?

I keep getting a titleException error, it fails to get CIA file info.

Failed to get CIA file info!

I have a folder named updates at the root of my sd card. It's full of cia files. Is that the proper way to have them? Are they supposed to be in a zip format?

Thanks for your contribution. However, I have a bit of a snag....
I used your upload with SUlib
I'm on N3DS, 10.3 U
The kernel exploit loaded fine, I see #1->#8
I pressed Y to downgrade
And ... Nothing.
Nothing has shown up on the screen, no "Getting xyz information."
Tried to press B to go back, looks like it's locked up.
Should I power down and retry?

Well, i got a weird error that tell me that installation faild because there is no cia file in the updates, i got panicked, i did restart to my N3DSXL and apparently the downgrade was successful and i'm on 9.2.0, WTF!?!
