Im having problems using FBI too from emunand. I'm booting a 9.2 emunand with cakes made from a downgraded 10.3 2ds. Funny thing is FBI can install cia to sysnand through pasta cfw and hbl, but not to emunand through cakescfw and hbl.

The error is:
Source: SOURCE_AM_START_CIA_INSTALL(0x13)
Module: MODULE_NN_OS(0x6)
Level: LEVEL_PERMANENT(0x1b)
Summary: SUMMARY_WRONG_ARGUMENT(0x8)
Description: DESCRIPTION_INVALID_COMMAND(0x2f)

And the fbi version is 1.4.17 and the entrypoint used is sliderhax, both emunand and sysnand.

Same error I'm getting. I've tried a couple different CIAs now and they've all gave me the same error.

I'm in this boat as well

That certainly it's a relief. I thought I messed up badly. Again, FBI on sysnand (through pasta) works perfectly dandy fine. Are you using cakes or rxtools? (To avoid myself the rxtools setup...)

Oh and FBI fails to delete cia files on the SD. It's like FBI lacks permissions or something.

Can confirm I'm getting the same issue with rxTools Urbanshadow. Same error when trying to install FBI via rxTools > OoTHax/BrowserHax > HBL > FBI > Error.

SysNAND version of FBI works "fine". Pasta obviously needed :P

I got a report for a fellow user stating that injected FBI in H&S does work in emunand. Really strange indeed.

Read page 1 of this thread. Try the dbs folder trick

Not to be disrespectful or nothing like that, but not even the error is closely related to the titles database. It's something else.

And decrypt9 is not even booting. @JershXL Is your system a 2ds aswell? Something along the lines of kernel hax not working is at play here. Not to be a douche, but doesn't look very well.

I don't know I've had a gateway card and I only ever use that now to set up cfw to get cia installers working. That's about all its good for now takes all the hassle out of injecting fbi sorry can't help any more.

Same boat here, trying from rxtools on emuNAND.

Pasta can't be used on EmuNAND, isn it?

No, pasta can't be used. I can confirm FBI working if injected into h&s app in emunand, but with strange behaviour. It installs, but titles need a reboot to work. Before they reboot they remain gray, like if singchecks were enabled. After a reboot title shows fine and boots fine. Definetly something strange is happening with 2ds and it's not FBI's fault so I will continue researching this problem in more appropiate threads.

I would personally install with pasta/dev mode to sysnand, then make you emunand with the app pre-installed.

hello, I did an mistake on emunand. I installed fbi on Nand destination. I got an black square. How can I remove it now?
