It will be legit in the sense that you can install it on your own console (the one that bought it in the first place) but non-legit in the sense it's not installable by every man and his dog.

Got it, thanks.
I'll make my CIAs later, haha.

I'll probably delete SSB :(
I can select the game mode, but nothing works afterwards. Not sure if I'm using HANS properly.

It works. Just have to use HANS.

Can someone explain to me how to delete the .cia that I installed?

Someone said something about their values/numbers, but I'm not sure where I can find those.
ok that helps a lot

System: O3DS
sysNAND: 10.3.0-28E
Booted HBL with: menuhax 2.1
Homebrew version: Original Smea

Installed New Super Mario Bros. 2 Special Edition on 15th try.

Very. This can only install legit CIAs, and even then it's really bad at doing it. Meanwhile, being 9.2 will allow us to do literally anything we please.
On 9.2, is there any way to play online, access the eShop or update games?

If I get DESCRIPTION_INVALID_COMMAND do I have to reboot or can I keep trying to install the cia without rebooting?

I believe that it's only possible on o3DS. IIRC, n3DS have some sort of weird encryption or something since 9.6.
Looks like I'm staying on 10.3 until something new develops then. I like these official CIA games anyway. :^)

Did anyone actually managed to "play" games from other regions?

SSB installed perfectly, but it keeps crashing when I try to play (right after selecting solo).

im surprised no one has dumped the yo-kai watch from the 2DS bundle yet as the game comes per-installed to the 2ds meaning it would be a legit CIA if dumped
That's what I was thinking, and isn't there a bundle with Happy Home Designer too?

Take it off the SD card, but keep it some place safe. I think nobody wants to deal with these awful filehosts if they don't have to.

So is it perfectly safe to remove the .cia? Ok, I might try FBI now or tomorrow. I'll post the results once I have them.

If we can start downgrading and installing CIAs with ease, I'd just downgrade, do my business in 9.2 and upgrade back to 10.3.
Rinse and repeat if I ever need anything again.

Have you ever used an Android device? Think of the .cia as an .apk.

so it would be better if I downgrade correct?
At this exact moment, no. If you check other threads you can see the code is either risky for certain users, or you still don't have full access to 9.2's exploits.

Can't yet. Need kernel access to dump it. Wait for all the new legit CIAs to appear once an official downgrade is available though! Yokai watch, happy home designer and Dragonball z are the ones I know about. I hope there's nore.

As far as I know, both of those games use higher crypto and were impossible so far to be dumped properly.

Haha, quite good comparison. Thanks for your help.
