so i guess I'll just wait a little until this becomes more stable, but i'm very interested in getting a few of those games for multiplaying with my brothers.
but i'd like to know if you need to keep those cia files around to remove a game again and generally, how they work as far as dlc is concerned. can you just buy dlc and its fine? will prebought dlc work normally (i already got some for FE:A).
and for those with dlc for mario bros 2, would it interfere with the already included dlc on the special edition?
You don't need the CIA after installing the game, you just need the title ID to know what you're deleting from FBI. (From what I've learned previously on 9.2)

So by needing twice the amount of space the rom is to install, you mean you need enough space for the rom to be on the sd card and then that much space again to install it? For example Pokemon OR is 1.8 GB, so I need 3.6 GB free right?
Yes.

I tried it using menuhax and i cant seem to install Super Mario 3d Land. Says install failed. Summary: Wrong argument. Description: Invalid Command.
I have 1gb of free space left.

Has anybody tried installing a out of region cia like smash bros (E) on a USA 3ds? Can you launch it with region 4?

Any way to check if a cia is legit? I downloaded a few long ago and want to be sure before installing them

You can update homebrew launchers boot.3dsx file. You can update homemenuhax. You can do ftbrowny tricks.
These solutions might can help.

Hey guuuuys :D
I launched hbl from ironhax, then i opened ftbrony then pressed L + R + DOWN + B for force return to hbl, then i opened FBI and i installed the legit cias without problems :D
