If it doesn't work with Sky3DS but with regular carts there you have an easy method of detecting Sky3DS, right in front of Nintendos nosesIt should work fine on *hax 2.5... It WON'T however work with sky3ds, never has for some reason.

Nintendo are lazy and would rather block pretty harmless homebrew instead. lolIf it doesn't work with Sky3DS but with regular carts there you have an easy method of detecting Sky3DS, right in front of Nintendos noses. I never understood how they could not have blocked Sky3DS yet.
To be honest, I'd be interested in doing a simple Sky3DS detector now (despite actually owning a Sky3DS). Won't do it, though, as people would get angry with me if I didNintendo are lazy and would rather block pretty harmless homebrew instead. lol

Yes I'm sure there would be plenty of angry sky3ds owners lol Both you and I included. To be honest, I'd be interested in doing a simple Sky3DS detector now (despite actually owning a Sky3DS). Won't do it, though, as people would get angry with me if I did.
offset is 0x0...By the way what should a CtrBootManager for Decrypt9 entry be? (e.g which loading offset should be specified)?

It's just like any other homebrew. No need for reminding people of the obvious.offset is 0x0...
@d0k3 you should probably stick this in the OP somewhere so we don't have to keep answering it lol
No, CFWs have different offsets, so it isn't exactly the most obvious... especially when this acts similarly to a CFW (uses Brahma2 and does stuff with arm9)It's just like any other homebrew. No need for reminding people of the obvious.
CFWs yes, but Decrypt9 isn't a CFW.No, CFWs have different offsets, so it isn't exactly the most obvious... especially when this acts similarly to a CFW (uses Brahma2 and does stuff with arm9)
Shadowtrances release is still not up to date. Use mine for now, and put the files (CIA/3DS) into either /D9game or /Decrypt9, your choice. Is it possible to decrypt a .3ds file? I get a message saying that it could not open the file, and that the files should go en /D9decrypt. I put the file there but it's not workings I'm using Shadowtrance release if that matters. Also, can I decrypt a .cia also? If yes, what are the steps?
not sure about .3ds, but it is possible to decrypt CIAs, there should be an option in the decyption menu to decrypt CIAs... depending on the CIA you may need to do the shallow decrypt or deep decrypt, it'll tell you which one you need to doIs it possible to decrypt a .3ds file? Well I usually keep the forum going in my browser then when the little red symbol pops up in the tab I go to see what's going on, write a reply and post it hahaDamn how do you reply so fast!! Thanks! I'll stick with your release then.
Gateway's red cart doesn't accept decrypted roms. You have to use them encrypted (either retail or development). One more question to save me going through the past posts - is the NCCH/NCSD Decryptor supposed to work on titles dumped via CDN to 3DS?
I have tried a few times with different titles & different Decrypt9 releases including the latest & I always end up with a white square instead of the game image on Gateway latest firmware & emuNAND
Why do you think it's more stable than CtrBootManager? I don't have any issues with boot rate or stability.
On my 9.2 O3DS, CtrBootManager fails to boot ocasionally. It's not very common but it happens. Why do you think it's more stable than CtrBootManager? I don't have any issues with boot rate or stability.
