when i did a nand backup like a week ago i was pretty sure that i i made a folder called 3ds sd card backup and did put it there , but i didnt find the folder now for some reason lol i tried searching and couldnt find it.
everything is still working prefectly on my 3ds i just wanted to make sure that the backup is still there if i ever needed it.
can i still make another backup now after i installed rxtools, menuhax and all that good stuff ?

Of course you can!

At the moment you don't even have to use Gateway anymore, just use decrypt9, it's way more convenient. It can create NAND and EMUNAND backups. Just do both of them, emunand in case you f*ck anything up there you can just reflash it. Burn the NAND backup to disc, put it on an external drive, upload it to the web (private file on mega or something). I keep mine in my dropbox for instance.

how do i use decrypt9 ?

It runs via homebrew Launcher and has a menu called sysnand file options. Just go there and create a nand backup, you'll end up with nand.bin just like gateway launcher does, but without all the cubic ninja hassle .

It also can generate xorpad if you ever want to convert 3ds to cia yourself, by the way. Very handy little tool.

decrypt9 is amazing and very handy, i used it yesterday to backup my emuNAND :)
such a useful tool! i will put my backups on my HDD just in case, not storing them in the computer alone after i read this thread XD just to be safe
