i made this topic to have a place where we can discuss/share/talk about our findings in MHX saves!
...so MHX stores the saves on the SD as extradata! once they are dumped/exported the saves are completely decrypted and are ready to be edited with ur fav hex editor(no extra save encryption) use SDF(if CFW/GW) or extradatatool homebrew to extract the (System & System_Backup files) Game id is 00001554, all 3 profiles/saveslots are in the system/_backup file!

if your on CFW(rxtools&other...) or on Gateway use SDF (SaveDataFiler) if on homebrew extradatatool... i explained this all on the first post...
the offset for that hasent been found yet, so ether wait or try to find it your self by dumping/exporting new saves with only the voice being different...
Also on a side note: its been confirmed that the box data is semi-crypted or something...

Ok I figured out the item box.
I added it to my wiki page but I'll post it here too.
The entire item box is bit packed, 18 bits per item. The 11 low bits are the item ID and the 7 high bits are the item count.
It starts at 0xC7CAC (offset 0x290 from the beginning of the character) and is 3150 bytes long which is exactly the number of bits needed for 1400 items (14 pages with 100 items per page).
I added it to my wiki page but I'll post it here too.

It's a real pain to modify bit-packed data like that so be careful when editing it and make a backup of your save of course!
also im sure that a full editor will pop out soon just like the last time when you released the MH4U crypto tools!!! im 100% sure if you havent done that we would never see any editors for mh4u even maybe custom quest would be just a privet elite hack that only skilled devs share with each-other!?! but im not sure if you were the first to release decryption 4 c-quests coz i remember kiranico also released the first ready 2 download cq around the same time as you...Could someone explain to me what does this mean? 'offset 0x290 from the beginning of the character' ?
I tried reading mog's wiki but the offsets listed on there are confusing, I can't find them in the system file. For example
0142E 72 Inventory item slots 1-32
When I look for 0142E in system the values are all 00, even though I have stuff on my item slots.

you take the next 4 bytes of hex and revert it again(try to follow the logic! thats wut for the example was made
)...
