ROM Hack [WIP][NTR]MiiPlaza 4 EU Plugin

Hi Folks,
Without anyone helping me out, I managed to get this stuff working by myself.
This is a WIP Plugin and may not work 100%!

(All Plaza Games) - always 300 Coins:
SELECT + UP

(All Plaza Games) - 255 Vouchers/Tickets:
SELECT + DOWN

(Haunted Mansion) - 65535 Diamonds:
START + UP

(Haunted Mansion) - Change colors of helpers:
START + LEFT

Info: Press START + LEFT again to rotate to the next color. Important here: you must RELEASE both buttons (START+LEFT) and then press them again in order to rotate the color.
On every rotate you must change the floor for the changes to take effect.
The color of the helper-icons at the bottom of the screen won't change anymore but you will notice that the blocks will have the desired rotation color after you switch the floor.
Color rotation order:
red
orange
yellow
light green
dark green
dark blue
light blue
pink
purple
brown
white
black
after black, it goes back to red.

I'll be updating this thread as I find more offsets for more MiiPlaza games.
I'll be focusing on MiiPlaza first, as there's actually nobody really researching on this game.

You're not doing anything wrong.
Looks like the offsets are not the right ones.
I need a possibility to "spend" my tickets. in order to search the RAM for changes. At the moment I cannot spend any tickets.
It's just a matter of time until everything is found out.
That's why the title says WIP. This is rather a very early beta state. My first compiled plugin. I started with this stuff 1 day ago and I'm sure it'll improve.
Can you give me any Info of how to spend the existing tickets in mii plaza?
(I'm more familiar on cheating around than actually playing).

So, the 'always 300 playcoins' thing works (I used well over 300 and it always said I'd got 300 available), but when I exited the Plaza I only had 1 playcoin showing on homemenu (I had about 200 before going to the plaza)... not a problem, as I just loaded up Playcoin Setter, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Hope you get the vouchers worked out - that will be very handy

Yeah, that's a little bit odd. I'd need to disassemble mii plaza and nop some calls because as soon as you use a coin, it writes the reduction (ie. -5 coins) directly into the coin save file.
If you're using the coins for other games besides the MiiPlaza ones, it'd be stupid as you will only have "infinite" coins in MiiPlaza.

Doing such disassembly would be a thing I can't accomplish with my beginner skills in writing plugins. This plugin feature is rather interesting for people using Sky3ds as they can't really use the PlayCoinSetter to get up to the 300 coins.


I'm kinda dissapointed that nobody actually got in touch with me to work something out together. It seems that everybody's on his own on here

I fixed the voucher issue
Now you get 255 vouchers if you Press SELECT+DOWN-ARROW!

I'm still struggling with the rotate-colors for the helper colors.

Well... there's a thread here at gbatemp. NTR CFW Release. You can find infos there.
Quick explained:
get NTR running on your 3ds, download my plugin, put it in sd-card\plugin\0004001000022800\cheat.plg
after loading ntr on your console, you may start the game and press the hotkeys.

It does reduce the amount of coins you have. At the point you reach 0 real coins, it still works (and doesn't go below 0 real coins).
let me try to explain:
game starts -> "nand coin save file" value is read and stored in ram.
in game when you buy something, the game checks the ram-value to verify if you can spend the coins.
if you have the minimum amount of needed coins in ram, the game executes the transaction.
after the transaction, the game reduces the coin amount in the ram + it opens the "nand coin save file", and makes a simple math calculation of "get the current value in the file, and take X coins from it. FAIL IT if the result will be below 0)

So yeah, you lose the physical coins. but as soon as you'Re in miiplaza, you can fake the coins through the plugin.

Excellent work! Tickets works great! Diamonds works great! Colour change helpers works great!

But to my understanding you need to have at leat 1 floor cleared to be able to change color?
Maybe that also is for the diamonds

I can't have it working. I Pressed Select+Down several times here:

Haunted Mansion Diamonds:
Works sometimes for me, need to use Start+Up several times.
It's not for set 65535 Diamonds, but ADD 65535 Diamonds.
You could specify that.

Haunted Mansion Color:
I don't exactly understand how to get it working, but after several try, I got it working.
I don't always understand how I did it, but I guess it work.
