Hacking Bypass 30 use limit on demo?

Hi,

Is there any way to bypass the 30 uses on some demos? The only related thread I could find was posted in 2014. https://gbatemp.net/threads/removing-of-use-limits-on-demos.360115/

Is backing/restoring emuNAND still the only way? I would love to play the MHX demo without worrying about the limits.

I believe if you launch them from the homebrew loader then it doesn't use a use.

Run it with hans and it doesn't count as a use.

Ah, I missed out on the demo limit thing on Hans. So, I just use Ninjahax, open Homebrew launcher and launch Hans right?

Yes. You can even run fully used up demos with Hans.

Alternatively build a cia using FunkyCIA. It removes the launch limit as well (unless you force it not to patch that bit).
But HANS seems like a more comfortable option if you're on a J3DS already anyway.

I'm using a US N3DSXL, just waiting for someone to dump.

If he had cia installation available I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be bothering installing the demo over the full game don't you think?

if he's going to play the .cia then....I doubt there's a reason for him not to get the full .cia game

The OP wants to play the demo until the full game comes out. And the fact that he wants to play a Japanese demo on an American console means that he has the means of installing a .cia.

He didn't specifically say it, but yes, it's the Japanese demo, the game isn't even announced for the west yet.
