Thank you, Vague Rant!
I'll check it right now!!

I don't see DSP in the driver/audio driver area. Only Null and the other on csnd. You know why? Maybe it was removed?

Use DSP Firmware Dumper.

To avoid double post:

Using latest build: If the bottom screen is turned off, when using the button combination to return to HBL, the bottom screen remains off until opening the system from sleep mode.
Also, when using the DSP driver, returning to gameplay from RetroArch menu crashes.

Guys, i have a N3DS with 9.9 Firm. What are my options for PSX Emulation? I saw in the OP that currently, RetroArch PSX emulation works only as a CIA. Is that because there's no DynaRec on userland?

Actually, the game i want to play on the N3DS PSX emulator is Vagrant Story. Love that game.

Edit: And btw, thanks for the answers. Looks like i have to wait :/
Ohhhh fair enough and I guess we will be waiting a while to play the Hardcore stuff lol

@NuikopeaDemon I seem to have figured out that menu issue - haven't tried Nov 16 yet but it seems the DSP audio driver was to blame - without that enabled everything works correctly.
I tried the Nov 16th build, and same thing happened.

EDIT: Also, how do you do a HBL game shortcut with RetroArch?

Just for curiosity can someone explain with technical details why dynarec functions require a .cia installer?

I can understand that you need kernel access (to set memory RWX I can imagine, I guess a "normal" app should not be able to do this), but what would prevent a .3dsx running the dynarec functions on a CFW? Does the ninjhax boot loader have some limitations that prevent from calling special scv* functions or setting special rights on the app?

ive placed pocketsnes.3dsx in its own folder under /3ds yet i cant see it in the homebrew launcher. Is this because it's missing the .smdh file?

Thanks, man!
So about DSP firmware Dumper: I've downloaded the archive (.3dsx), and launched it with Ninjhax 2.1. It says Error, with a game or without a game in it. It's normal?

On my way! Thanks!
It works.

I can confirm the black screen issue when INGAME you swap an option in the quick menu then try to return ingame.
It needs a reboot.
