I'm not worried about anything getting leaked. Everything will be developed from scratch for the public. Testers just get it early and help me out.

So why give privilege for few testers only? If its for the public and your release enought secure share with every body at the same time

If he release for more people then maybe someone shares it to nintendo so they patch it. He needs to be safe with only a few testers. He don't need more than just a few.

It's only strange because, the other developers shroud theirs exploits by a mist of mistery, not trying to fire shots or anything, he is asking for testers because he need to debug on many system as possible (i guess), and dont have the money to buy them all.
But i could be talking bullsh*t.
