is there a youtube video out about this?

I'm curious to see when and for how long this image shows.
My internet sucks, but I can tell you in words.
On my O3DS (N3DS is faster) it takes about 12 seconds after you turn it on while holding L to show the image. The image then stays for about 7 seconds while the homebrew launcher boots up. (2.5 payload, using Masher's HBL)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I made something really shitty (on purpose, because sometimes people on GBAtemp can be really dumb):
imagedisplay.PNG

The """3D effect""" is Triple-Vision(tm)!

May I ask what is triple vision? :P

No matter what image I use it just shows junk on the top, did I do something wrong?
You should:
  • Open menuhax manager
  • Select fourth option
  • Press A again
  • Select second option

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

When you turn 3D on, you see the main image in the center, and the left and right sides, slightly faded, on the left and right.
Eyestrain, ho!
Can't wait to try it out!

Did you launch menuhax manager, click on the option that says main screen boot image (or whatever), press A at the prompt, and chosen Custom Image? Make 100% sure that the image is called "imagedisplay" (without quotes), is a .png file, and is on your SD card at /3ds/menuhax_manager/imagedisplay.png.

EDIT: GODDAMMIT I was ninja'd for my first time on GBAtemp! :P

After fucked my eyes for crossing on every image, I can say that you should swap the left and right, the letters are digs in, not pops out.

I originally had the left and right images reversed and it looked horrible. I redownloaded this one to make sure I didn't accidentally upload the wrong one but it looks fine to me. If it's causing you issues you can use the 2D version I posted or not use it at all.

nobody cares about the rules, if noobs can shitpost we can make 3ds boobs, that alone is a reason to buy 3ds+cubic ninja at 400$
Well if GBCtemp actually matures and has more of the people on here, I might just do that. I'd get banned, but I'd go out with a bang :hrth:

If I'm understanding you correctly you're crossing your eyes to view the 3D. These images are parallel, not cross-eyed. On the actual 3DS it'll look fine.
