Hey Guys so I may have figured out a reliable way to get browserhax to work. The answer lies in the speed of the boot up of the browser. So here's the steps
  1. Go to smealum.github and follow instructions to prepare your sdcard. There's a nice package available
  2. Boot your 3ds
  3. Open Browser and delete cache and save data. Close Browser
  4. Open Browser once and select search engine and then close browser.
  5. On Main Menu switch off your Wifi . Its the manual switch on O3ds and via touchscreen on N3ds
  6. Now open your camera application. Select QR code reader
  7. Scan QR code from Browserhax page, link to page can be found step 1
  8. At this point it will say URL found and take u to your browser, however page won't load because we have switched off Wifi. So close browser.
  9. Here's the tricky part. Switch ON your Wifi and IMMEDIATELY open the browser
  10. Sit Back and enjoy Browserhax
I'm currently using a N3ds 10.1.27 E

Hope This helps

Time to sell your 2ds and get a n3ds ;)

I can't. I saved up to buy it and I regret not getting a regular 3ds yes, but I rather have a 2ds as I don't have to worry about the hinge issue.

Plus I don't deal with gamestop. They are a white supremacist racist company and I'm not giving them my time or money.

I could always buy a fucking gba flash cart I guess. Shit.

Currently, unless video proof is shown, this only works on n3ds, NOT o3ds

Okay, this is odd. Tried doing the .165 and .065 dnses and now all I'm getting is "cannot use the internet browser at this time" message. Could tubehax dns have blocked the nintendo server?

Deleting the cache and browser history was necessary for me to get the hack to work again, also the 165 DNS.

If you get the "browser cannot be used at this time" message, keep trying. If you get the webpage but it says "error" and the page isn't loaded reload the page and cross your fingers.

try that and see if it works
Thanks for all the help, guys. But no matter which methods I've done... The most I've gotten to is consistently getting the "internet browser cannot be used at this time" message. :/ browserhax is dead for o3ds users, just gonna update to 10.2 and use it like regular until another vulnerability for browserhax or another freehax comes up or get cubic ninja. :/

Can confirm this works. I have 10.1, I put the first set of DNS' in. You NEED to fully power off your 3DS first. Replace the first default bookmark to the URL of the browserhax before doing so however. Once you turn the system back on you're gonna wanna remember where the browser icon is, and you need to open it as fast as you can, and spam tap the area where the first bookmark is. works like a charm. thanks!

on the N3DS

Instead of doing it from startup, you can click the button in the top right corner of the homemenu turn wifi off, wait 2 seconds, turn wifi back on, open browser right after, and spam refresh. This way you dont have to wait for reboot

Oh sweet! Thank you, that works just as well! Going to install ironhax now so I don't have to worry about any of this though

If you have everything setup, including the link in the browser, and you want to start it for a second time there is an easy way to do that. Just go to the Settings and select your Wifi settings. Tap Edit and then Save. Exit and start the browser. This will rewrite your Wifi settings and lets you start at step 9

Following this is still says "the browser version is not recognised".

Any help on o3DS? still on 10.1. i happened to have themehax on a different SD card and lost that card. dammit. if you guys can't help me to get browserhax to work then can you help me to maybe set themehax up again? I already installed it i just need the files for the sd card right? any help is appreciated as i don't want to update and lose any hope of access for now...

This is some bullshit. All these advancements in technology and you guys still haven't found a workaround update to this?
Could you stop being rude? People are working VERY hard to get this to work on Old 3DS/ find a new exploit in the newest browser. If you can't wait patiently, then please leave.

Firstly, if you have triggered the nag message on 10.1 then you are already screwed. Sencondly, we couldn't provide files even if we wanted to. The theme files are locked specfically to your 3ds, so try finding that SD card. That's all I can really tell you. Sorry about that. :/

If you're getting that message then you have 10.2, in which case the browser works fine, but broswerHAX does not work, because 10.2 fixed all the vulnerabilities for the current browser. So right now you're shit outta luck unless you get a sky3ds and install cubic ninja on it, or get cubic ninja itself.
