So I did buy the game and thought it would be great on the 3ds.

You could move buttons down below and the movement system down below as well.

(Recreation, simulator, emulator, call it what you like but yeah)

Is it possible?

(Wasnt sure where to put this but k)

Emulator? No, the 3DS (neither old nor new) isn't remotely powerful enough to emulate a PC. Recreation? Possibly, if you scaled down graphics and stuff, but it'd take way more effort than it's worth to recreate the game from scratch. You're better off asking for a port to the eShop.

GameMaker (the tool used to develop UnderTale) currently cannot compile for Nintendo systems. If it were to appear on a Nintendo system at all, it'd have to be recreated specifically for it.

It can be recreated using downgraded graphics and copied sound files, but it would not only take ages, but we don't even know everything about the game.
If I ever end up opening devkitARM, that'll be my first project.
It would definitely be new3DS exclusive, you just cannot do this with the old3DS's small amount of available RAM.

Ehh. At least I tried asking if it was possible but alas, it isn't. Thanks anyway.

Jokes aside, NXengine is a thing though.
Speaking of Undertale, I figured that making a new thread wasn't worth this question but it seems I cannot make work the 3DSController with that game, it only takes my X, START and Dpad entries. Everything else seems no existent, anyone knows what can be done?

Is there another type of tool that is similar you could try?

I'd imagine you could create a program similar to NXEnging to recreate Undertale. Still, that would be a lot of work, especially if you want something that won't just be a crappy scaled down version. I wouldn't say it's impossible, it just probably won't happen. If you want it to happen, then you'll probably have to develop it yourself.

Well the best way to "emulate" Undertale... wait, you actually want a port of it, right? And that's up to the developer for that (unless you make your own port). Personally, I don't think it'd work well, but again it's up to the dev unless you or someone else wants to work on a 3DS port. Even then, if Toby was to port it to 3DS, I don't think Game Maker can be easily emulated on or developed for 3DS.

tl;dr: make one or ask toby.
