@Garcia98
Thanks mate, I've just seen it. I've never handled a pull request before. What will happen when I click "merge pull request"?

It'll simply merge the code changes proposed by the pull request. As long as his fork is up to date with yours, there shouldn't be any conflicts or anything.

Ok, thanks. I've just merged it. Now I assume I have to open GH Desktop on my Mac and sync to pull the changes down to my local copy, right?

Yeah. If you've made changes in the areas that he modified in the pull request, you might have to do some conflict fixing in your local git (or you could try to do a git rebase based on your github copy).

Thanks guys! I checked the commits it was going to merge and there was nothing I had modified myself, so I've just merged it and then synced back to my local copy. Thanks @Garcia98 for these changes! Especially for enabling the speedup. The water is smooth again now! :) Loading the titles still seems to take a while though. I actually experimented with a new method for this tonight. I created a new linked list which indexed only the minimum information needed to identify the source of the title. When the title list was loaded, it populated this minimal linked list instead of the actual menu data (i.e. the icon graphics etc). When the menu items were going to be drawn, it then examined the index list to see if the item had already been loaded. If it hadn't, then it used the info in the minimal index to retrieve the full data for the title before displaying it. The idea behind this was that only the first 8-12 (depending on the number of rows) items would need to be loaded, and the rest would be displayed when switching to those pages. Unfortunately, the operations required for creating even the minimal index list seemed to take just as long as loading the full title data.

I'm sorry if this has already been pointed out, but I can't access the eShop from this launcher. Is this already known and being worked on? If it is already known then sorry for bringing it up.

Yes it's already know about. It does work, but you have to launch it by opening HANS and selecting the eShop title. I've already put XML title and HANS shortcut launching on the todo list so these will be sorted at some point.

At just this moment, nobody is able to access to eShop, because is in "maintenance".

Okay, thanks for the reply! And thank you for making an amazing homebrew launcher! This one is soooooo much better than the default one! :wub:

Is there something else I need to do to get wallpapers working? I placed the files on the root of my SD with the correct filenames and sizes, but nothing changed.

They don't go on the root. Please check out the custom themes thread on the first link of my signature. It will let you know everything about custom themes :)

Wow being a dick to someone wanting to help. Nice one. If you have made 20 themes then what is your problem? Be more specific.

Do you see what thread we're in? If I was asking about custom themes, I would've made it clear I was asking about custom themes. And it'd be in a thread about custom themes. :huh:

Yes we're in the Grid Launcher thread and you're talking about "custom themes for Masher's Grid Launcher", I fail to see the point you're trying to make?

JJTapia19 is right, you don't put the custom themes for Grid Launcher in the root, you put them under gridlauncher/themes.
