No not baseless due to the fact Smea said a few days ago he hoped to have it out by Sunday at the latest. But he also said that about 2.0 and that was a few days late so we might not get it today.

No.. smea is not going to release a kernel exploit (which would be needed to downgrade) and he isn't going to help CFW/piracy in any way by releasing a downgrade either.
