Sure it is, although i think he already got 9.2+ kernel access (and many people think the same). I thinks he is doing a ten times harder work trying to implement some functions in userland that shuold be A LOT easier to obtain with a kernel hack.

I'm not really interested in piracy, i always buy games i want to play, i'm just interested in seeing the full capability of my consoles really used. Like what happened with the PSP. In addition, i can't really understand this wave of "sin-free" hackers, that want to avoid piracy at all cost...i could just buy a sky3ds if i want piracy.

They're what helps load the homebrew menu, basically like the HBL's version of a ARM11 and a few other things to load HBL properly, if i'm not mistaken.

If I'm not mistaken it's code that the entrypoint loads to run homebrew launcher or ninjhax. There are different ones for firmwares 9.0 and up.
