Just attached beta 56. This adds an option to show the ID of the currently selected title in the bottom left corner of the top screen. This is useful for creating ignoretitles.txt as you no longer have to boot the title and check bootlog.txt. I have also put the IDs for all the system titles on my 9.9 EU n3DS on the first post.

@mashers: Its planned to add custom battery and wifi icon? And custom font and size for the Text on the top bar and other Text?
Battery and wifi icon is possible. Custom font and text size would be a huge amount of work, and would probably be impractical since the layout depends on the text being the size it is now.

Are there any buttons remaining free that could be used as an "add to ignoredtitles" button right in the menu? I guess it could be an on-screen button if nothing else.

Is the top screen water on, can't people see with the default theme the IDs.

What can I say, your work is really awesome :yay:

I see in your todo list that you're planning to add a shutdown option.
Can you please add a brightness control, too? Perhaps so that it is always accessible (of course completely transparent!)?

I was thinking of doing a "long press" recogniser to pop up a menu to add to ignoredtitles.

Spotted some bugs:
  • Row options bugged(No idea how i did it):View attachment 27921
  • Disabling theme randomizer freezes the launcher
I think that's sorted in the next beta.

@mashers when we load up a downloaded title will we ever be able to come directly back to the hbl

How'd ya get mashers theme?
It's on the themes thread :)

Don't think that'd be possible with the current implementation of HBL. We'd have to hack how the 3DS itself works so that pressing home menu would go to HBL rather than the default home menu (on the level of making a full-blown custom replacement firmware, probably.)

That being said, if you have ThemeHax set up as auto-boot, you can hold the power button for a moment and then press home button on the shut down screen, which normally should trigger the hax and send you back to HBL.
(Doesn't work all the time, I've had the system crash on me after the 3DS tried loading home menu. Certain apps do that, I'm not sure what causes it. I think actual games, like cartridges and eShop games should work fine with that though.)

Has 2.5 will allow it. @mashers just has to implement it.
