Oh lets get that 4DO emulator working! I love me some Twisted....Johnny Pow...You control the Cyber Die!

NullDC for pc. Chankast might have been the one causing you issues.

NullDC was extremely unpleasant last time I used it. It'd do the job, but only with some finagling on a per-game basis.

Makaron showed promise, but didn't have a usable GUI.

I never did mess much with Demul though.

Which revision did you use? The newest and final version for nulldc is 1.0.4. Demul had an update not too long ago on 9/25/15.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

right now, there's no Dreamcast Emulator, right?
Really want to play Shadowman on my 3DS, haha
If you are on a N3DS, you can try the ps1 version of Shadowman.

You won't get Dreamcast emulation anyway. The 3DS (even n3DS) isn't fast enough.

How's emulation on o3ds?
I'm barely getting 30fps in cps1. Gba is nice though.

Is there non-garbage PC Dreamcast emulation yet? Last time I checked, it was finicky and prone to constant issues,
Reicast is the way forward. (I hear Demul isn't bad either but I don't use it for DC stuff)

Ok, so, I did some testing with Seita, wasn't clear to me but RAM availability is very different on new 3DS if you use .cias or .3dsx builds of cps2/neo cores :
with cia :
metal slug 2 runs
kof 96 runs
Marvel vs Capcom runs

with 3dsx :
metal slug 2 crashes when unzipping and being put in RAM
kof 96 crashes when unzipping and being put in RAM
Marvel vs Capcom when unzipping and being put in RAM
(metal slug 1 and Street Fighter Alpha 2 both run fine)

so keep that in mind when posting stuff regarding those cores, and wait for SmeaHax 2.5 I guess :\

That should be fixed with *hax 2.5.

Hm. FCEUMM fails to launch and freezes the system. This is an issue on 18th and 19th builds but does not occur with ones prior.

3dsx, 9.9 N3DS XL, tried launching via ironhax, themehax, smealum's HBL and Masher's grid HBL.

I have the 19th builds on my 3DS. It's launching fine for me.

Can you add this in the first post?

list of emulators which can have a full speed on o3ds's CFW:

quicknes (Nintendo Entertainment System)
picodrive (Sega 8/16 bit)
gambatte (Game Boy/Game Boy Color)
gpsp (Game Boy Advance)

Has GPSP made significant progress since I tried it last? I wouldn't have called it full speed on 9.2/o3ds/cia.

Maybe offtopic but Smea just told us not to update a few hours ago. He said Nintendo may be pulling a new update. My wii u eshop won't work either.
Nintendo is up to no good. lol
