I can access my eshop on hbl with mashers layout, and then when i try to press home, it freeze, is there any other way to fix this or i'll just hardly push the off/on button., every time i access any apps and exit , it freeze, i already change my boot 3ds to permanent autoboot of themehax, and i have emergency boot

That seems to happen with anything launched from the title selector, only way around it i found is pressing the power button so the "software closed" screen appears THEN press home button and it doesn't crash/freeze up.

Yes, when you want to exit an app, instead of pressing HOME like normal, press POWER until the "Software Closed" screen appears then press HOME and it will exit like normal without freezing.

ok,do i need to hold the power button for the Software Closed" screen appears" or just press once?

Another option for @vhaines (because he uses autoboot triggered ThemeHax) is holding a button just inmediately after pressing HOME button to return to HOME Menu adequately.

I did change my theme already, and I don't get any error code, just this screen which appears except that pressing A or B or any other key doesn't do a thing :

Also, does v1.2 still fetches payload from /themehaxinstaller_otherapp_payload.bin ? I tried bypassing http fetch (my internet connexion is indeed pretty shitty) by downloading the payload from smealum's website and renaming it but I still won't get past this frozen screen.
Just look some pages before on this thread and you'll find an offline installer version (made by @zoogie) that should work well for you!

Ok so i have booted Gateway into sysnand mode, installed the themehax_installer.cia, it says that its installed correctly. But have noticed a few lines of the code say....

Failed to start BgmCache.bin and bgm.bcstm on SD card copying for the bgm-data will be skipped

Failed to copy theme Manage.bin, generating one then try again

When i turn the 3ds on and hold the 'L' button down its seemed to have frozen at...

got handle ?
am.sys
0086008

and the bottom screen turns form blue to red
Well, installation method commented on this thread is mainly performed through another *Hax exploit. Cia method is somewhat unusual (I guess), but should work fine too!... Only advice I can give to you is put a default theme (nothing or basic colored) before you install the exploit and keep your console connected to the web while you do that.

Just at contrary: First HOME button, then inmediately hold another button and you will go to HOME Menu (exactly, it goes to "suspend program" screen).

I just compiled the newest Themehax version together with an official theme I'd normally use.
Installed just fine, after that I renamed the used menuhax***.lz to body_LZ.bin and put that and the bgm file into CHMM's Themes folder and applied the theme.
Well I still was able to start HBL and also still got into home menu and saw the new theme working but as soon as I moved the cursor to a new tile it froze immediately.

Here's a video of all that (hosted on my website)
http://push.anukthewolf.com/a/VID_20151014_010707.mp4

And btw, it took almost an hour to compile (compared to 79 secs with stock theme)

I compiled it and it just freezes on startup.
If I use the CHMM to install it (uncompressed) it will just give me the default theme. And if I compress it first it will have a theme but I won't be able to use themehax...
Even though I built it with a theme.
How did you do it?

ok, im gonna try that, home button then hold ANY button on the 3ds? then it will go back to original menu or hbl?

How did you do it?

I first compiled it using the default flags + THEMEDATA_PATH (which leads to an umcompressed body_lz.bin) on Ubuntu 15 64bit
with devkitARM which I got here (http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/3DS_Homebrew_Development#Linux_.2F_Mac_OSX )
Also compiled the themehax installer as well (which is in the subfolder) and put those two files into /3ds/themehax_installer and the compiled menuhax_***.lz files into /3ds/themehax_installer/<insertsubfolderwheretheyusuallygo,iforgot>.
I still had another folder in there from the old version, gotta look which one it was later.

Before installing, I switched my theme to remove the hack, then got back into HBL via tubehax and installed themehax using the default options.
Then I opened FTP-3DS (just to get access to my SD card) and as mentioned, copied the menuhax19456EUR.lz (which was used by the themehax_installer)
to /3ds/CHMM2/Themes and renamed it to body_LZ.bin. Also moved the bgm.bcstm there (which is just a renamed BgmCache.bin).
Then I just opened CHMM2 and installed that and it worked.

Btw I have 10.0.0 EUR on new 3DS, maybe its just a bug on your version?

Can't really say anything more than that.^^

You use the uncompressed theme in CHMM2 and then it shows the theme and HBL still works? For me that shows the Blank theme and HBL doesn't work anymore. Neither does HBL work if I compress it.
I also built the theme via themehax and uwed the installer first (which leads to me being stuck on black screen on startup.)
Yellows8 mentioned something about the theme having to be 4-byte aligned for the build. I believe mine is.
Maybe my 3DS version is not supported or the the is to big? 611kb uncompressed.
Using o3DS 10.1.0-27E

IIRC mine was much bigger, like 1300kb.
Can't really help you then, Im fairly new to the scene^^
Maybe you just want to try another theme then? If that doesn't help, just wait for a new version,
seems like Yellows8 is working hard to get a good theme support in there.
