ok, thanks, btw, as far as I remember we could only access to 30% (o3ds) and 80% (80%) of the CPU right? sorry if this is old news, but my job devours way too much of my time and a long time has passed since the last time I experimented with stuff on the 3ds.
Yeah, that's a bit weird though. The o3DS runs at 268Mhz and the n3DS runs at 800-something Mhz.

I would like to tinker with the PSX code but I fail to find it on the libreretro page, someone can direct me to it?
the cores are kept each in a separate repository, you can find the source code for the pcsx_rearmed core here.
you need to first compile the core with
Code:
make platform=ctr
copy what you get as libretro_ctr.a to the retroarch tree , and then run
Code:
make -f Makefile.ctr LIBRETRO=pcsx_rearmed
the last parameter isn't necessary but it will give you a cia with the correct icon and ID.

he, yeah bit slow but well it's the just the beginning, with time we could get access to more, and what about gpu access? sorry for the many questions I just re-studying the capabilities of the actual exploits right now

We already have GPU access. It's just not implemented into RetroArch yet. To access more of the CPU we'd need a kernel hack.

Having put a few minutes in the mednafen pce core with a hu card rom, i'm impressed, it actually runs very close to FCeumm (if not slightly faster) despite the obvious differences between NES and PC Engine

Glad to hear it works pretty well on O3DS!

Here is the link to the video i uploaded of Spyro 2 running on my 3ds. Gotta say that there has been great work done since I first here of the possibility to run PSX games and I have to say thank very much to everyone who is involved in this.

Impressive!

This emulator will probably be something like daedalus64x (n64 on psp). Almost playable, almost :p

PSX core for 3DS but not one for Wii, Retroarch?
Shame on you. :P

"The Wii isn't powerful enough due to using PPC and not ARM" remember? :P

It could be ported to Wii, and in fact I believe I saw someone on the Libretro forums mentioning it, but it was said to be painfully slow, but what's stopping it from being optimized?

It did have those two though. The names escape me.

WiiSX and Not64 (branch of Wii64, the latter of which runs pretty well). The problem is WiiSX hasn't been updated since early 2013, we could use some fresh ports of them; if the GBA, which was said to be impossible to run on the Wii, can run full speed with 95% games, surely, the same can be done with PS1. Optimizations need to be made, sure, but it shouldn't be impossible either. It's a matter of finding and rallying people interested.
