How many FPS were you getting with the previous builds?
Pokemon MD used to get about 52 FPS and firered used to get a max of 56 FPS.
I have an actual GBA bios. I noticed it's a little faster with one. I've had that since the 18th build though. No frameskip BTW.

Oh! Maybe it's because I don't have a BIOS. I'll get one and give it a try later. Thanks.

3DS just finished charging, got me a GBA Bios, now I'm wondering where do I place it? I searched this thread and the mGBA forums and I can't find the answer.

You can place it anywhere. You select where it is in the settings.
I can't believe I missed that, thank you! Just tried Mario Advance again with the BIOS on. Surprisingly having the BIOS actually slowed the game by about 1~2 FPS. Without it I used to get 18~19FPS, now I get 16~17 on average. Oh well.

Thanks for the help!

I dont have a 3DS to test this yet, so if customizing controls is an option would that mean you could play Street Fighter Alpha 3 without having to press two buttons at once to do medium punch? Just map it to a button?

Has anyone else been testing with Mother 3 on o3DS? That's the only game I really want to play
I only really had issues running the Japanese version, it would usually freeze at the Gameboy Player screen. The English patch works fine so far. I've barley tested it though lol

Really? that's awful. I was using it like 2 weeks ago and I got as far as the character naming screen before giving up because of how slow it was moving.

Yeah i have a lot
...and? lol. How is it running with the latest release? specifically, as a CIA, is what I'm most interested in.

Why not use CitrAGB if you have CIA access?

Last I heard Mother 3 is too large of a ROM to play on citrGBA, period. At the time (last month, so semi-recently), there was no indication that this was expected to be a solvable problem.
Last time I checked, the issue was fixed. I haven't tested it though.

Got 32MB roms working finally. As usual, download is in the main post.

On the latest .3dsx mGba and n3ds 10.1 I'm playing a Pokemon Emerald hack (Pokemon Glazed) and it's running pretty nicely. ~50 fps normally, with occasional slow downs for starting a battle and etc. I set frameskip to 1 to get a slight boost to around ~56 fps which is nice. Looking forward to further optimisations!

Edit: Since it seems to make a difference for some, no bios.
