Hello,
just install rxTools 2.6, and when install .CIA i have in both EMUnand and SYSnand program installed.

I understand that is necessary unlink SYS from EMU nand. Recover from forum these info :

1. In sysnand, go to System Settings -> Other Settings -> Format System (Do not accept yet)
2. Eject your Sd card (don't worry, it is safe)
3. Accept to Format your 3DS/2DS
4. After it reboots, go through the setup screen and set everything up
5. Once in the home menu, insert back you sd card and let it create some files on your sd card.
6. Your nands are now unlinked, and there are 2 ID folders in your Nintendo 3DS folder on your SD card (one for emunand, another for sysnand)

Now the question : What do I lose and what do I gain ?

thank you for any info,
m.

essentially nothing... anything currently installed on your emuNAND will stay (as long as you take the SD card out) and your sysNAND will be blank, the reason it's done is that some users have reported having an issue when they update emuNAND and it updates sysNAND and if you don't have a backup and a nand mod then there isn't a way for you to go back to the old firmware, otherwise if you plan on using a different firmware (other than rxTools) if you use any of the GBA firmware stuff you have to install all of the games on both sysNAND and emuNAND to be able to play them while booted into emuNAND... hope this helps

EDIT: also instead of posting a bunch of new threads, it would be better for you to post questions in the guide/place you got the information from, don't worry just remember that for the future :)

if you leave your systems linked, the sysnand will not update randomly. The confusion comes from changing system settings. When you change system settings, and then update without rebooting, the console reboots for you to change the settings. This also probably sets a flag to initiate the update when the reboot is done, however, rebooting kicks you back to sysnand. To remedy this, dont change settings when manually updating sysnand (or exit system settings after changing them, and boot emunand again). I leave all of my emunands linked, its just more convienent in my case
