I was going to submit this on the repo directly, but I can't quite wrap my mind around what the exact project structure is for homebrew apps (i.e. what is all required, I do have ctrulib and devkitpro but then still @_@).

@Stracker, Might I suggest changing the icon on the smdh to the pkhex icon? Attached below is a zip with both a pre-made smdh file (using SMDH Creator) as well as the used small and large icons.

Can you run svdt or save manager and tell me if they work for you ?
I still have absolutely no idea why it doesn't work for those with emunand...

That's a problem with homebrew launcher, maybe try restarting but I can't help you much further...

got it to work! the fix was i wasnt selecting pokemon Y in the gateway menu and than i didnt go with IronHAX to select Pokemon Y!

I'm sorry, but it's probably a problem with ninjhax/ironhax and either emunand or firmware 10.1, where those hacks can't access the savedata.
I can't do much about it anymore, now it's on the developers of those hacks to do something, moreover I don't have an emunand system nor a 10.1 system, so I can't do any testing...
I'll look at reading the saves from SD card, so if you manage to find another way to extract/inject saves, it'll maybe work with that...

That's part of what i'm working on right now, something that'll allow you to 'type' names and stuff
It'll be used for editing moves, items, abilities and of course species
