The contents of FB Alpha v0.2.97.28 Complete.nzb clocks in at just under 11GB.

Has only the CPS2 compatibility of FBA been implemented or does Neo Geo work as well?

I also second the request for Neo Geo CD, it ran 100% on PSP, required almost no more resource than regular Neo Geo games did.

One more working game, Mega Man: The Power Battle. This is a bit of a complicated one, the original Power Battle (ROMset: megaman) was a CPS-1 game. It was ported to CPS-2 but that version was never given a full release in the west. It does look like they had a location test or something, however, as there is a SAMPLE version. This ROMset (mmancp2u) is a clone of the original CPS-1 game, so you need to have both ROMsets together in your ROM directory to launch it. Don't try to launch the parent megaman.zip, it won't work because that's a CPS-1 game. Instead, launch mmancp2u.zip.

Full working list:
  • csclub (Capcom Sports Club)
  • megaman2 (Mega Man: The Power Fighters)
  • mmancp2u (Mega Man: The Power Battle; requires parent megaman)
  • sfa (Street Fighter Alpha)
  • spf2t (Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo)

N3DS 19/09/2015 build:
- Gambatte .cia: The screen ration works now. 4:1 is the fullscreen ratio, it works fullspeed. (little bit blurry though). Crackling sound issue still here after closing/opening the device. Good job on the screen ratio fixed, team!
- gpsp .cia: Scren ratio works now too!! Fullspeed and stuff I like it. I tried Buu's Fury, NULL error and I had to reboot the device. Another issue is that Save ingame aren't working.
- Genesis + DX.cia: Fullspeed and stuff. Tearing on the left of the screen still here. Another thing: Tried Mortal Kombat 3, the emulation quality is absolutely perfect. But I noticed that you can't perform attack that require 2 buttons: High kick is B+C on genesis game, and if I press B+A on 3DS it doesn't works. I need to press R. Maybe it could be a great addition to enable it.

- General points to improve imo, not a request:
+ Circular stick support
+ Black screen ingame for the bottom screen

Good job guys! Little to little it is improving!

Just installed the gpsp cia and tried Megaman Battle Network 6.
The game works flawlessly, but for some reason it won't save (save resetes after restarting).
Is there any fix to that?
Also, is it possible to use save stats? no idea how to enter the menu after booting a game, I just press the home button and quit.

The new nightly has the FBA CPS-1 core. Games on CPS-1 are much smaller than CPS-2, so ROM size should be much less of an issue; I tried a handful of games and they all started up. Rotation seems to be a bit iffy, so vertical games like 1941 display in the wrong resolution and aspect ratio, mess with the rotation and custom ratio settings if you need to play them.

Hello world, I think I found a bug on CATSFC that reduces FPS, indeed on some play, when you change the driver of its full advantage, FPS return to normal (at around 58 to 59) .
Tested with the game seiken densetsu 3, Terranigma and Tales of Phantasia and it works.
Whereas at the beginning I was shooting a 45-50 fps on n3ds with these games I now turning a 58-59 fps depending on the locations of the map of the game.

Street Fighter Alpha on CPS2 plays and looks AMAZING on the N3DS =)

What CPS1 games works for you?

Both CPS1 & CPS2 is "perfect fits" on the 3DS screen =)

+ Circular stick support

Ever since the first build, if you went into Input settings, there's a setting along the lines of "D-Pad to Analog" which is turned off, and if you change it to Left Stick, the circle pad works.

no idea how to enter the menu after booting a game

Tap the bottom screen.

Even on the New 3DS, it's only possible with dynarec (whcich in turn requires kernel access).

Not sure if this has been reported (I've tried keeping up with the thread,) but CATSFC appears to be deleting saves that aren't started with it. (As in start a game in BlargSNES, retroarch reads the srm and wipes it clean.) This happened on Super Metroid and Final Fantasy III. The games work otherwise and this didn't happen with earlier builds. Pretty bummed out to lose my Super Metroid save. Hope this is fixed in later builds.
