Ah. Thank you. So I will just wait a while longer and see where this all goes.
Edit: also is there anything I should or shouldn't do in case it does get a release? I'm assuming staying on 9.9 is recommended?

So updating won't kill Ironhax? I couldn't really find a straight answer. Just lots of saying no one was sure yet.

Also this browserhax thing is for 3ds games that use a web browser, not the actual 3DS web browser.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

This is a rop chain, not an exploit, but someone could make one with it.
This has nothing to do with kernel access, but people are speculating that this is a piece to yellows8's "puzzle", and will eventually lead to his "private kernel exploit" to be released.

Noob question but what will happen once we gain kernel access?

arm11 kernel means installation of legit cias and downgrading
arm9 kernel means piracy CFWs and all that cool stuff B-)

With arm9 kernel we have full access over the system, which means we can do anything :yaynds:

Well, if usable by people with O3dses (which seem to be the red headed stepchild of homebrew) it could mean gba speed ups in emulation, installing legit cia's(?) And I think even cfw.

Edit : Ninja'd (and with better info!) I need to stop using Mobile...
