this might be a REALLY dumb question, but if i use smashhax instead of tubehax, would i see any sort of performance improvement to the emulators bc of smash's extra memory usage? or is it just more helpful for the devs?

I dont, but with so many news gateway always release updates with other people's work, so its more of like an observation.

lol so basically gateway just waits for the homebrew scene to make progress, then uses that for their own personal financial gains?

the madness! :/

after reading that, i don't think i'll ever support gateway.
They are more interested in making progress since if they do, money will be involved. Lets say some with lots of money just showed up on this post and said. 50 thousand USD to the first one who releases anything new with yellow8's released information... surely things would move a lot quicker, and that is where gateway comes in.

i get that, but from what i just read there's no part of gateway offering credit/compensation to the people actually doing the work. :-/

That is true, they keep all the money they make, which should really not be the case.
