Hacking How to install MSET rxtools exploit WITHOUT NDS flashcart?

i believe that's the only way. maybe you should make sure the rx version/build and your mset version support it.

You can do it via web browser afaik.

Hey I just tried the rxinstaller.bin again but didn't work. Did I do something wrong? My emunand is on the lastest 10.0.0 27E and sysnand is on 6.3.0 12E.
Here's a breakdown of what I did:
1. I backed up sysnand last night via gateway ultra
2. I formatted emunand last night via gateway ultra.
3. I installed rxtools via browser and now I have emunand.
4. I updated emunand to latest.
5. I installed fbi over health and safety on emunand but not on sysnand.
6. I installed a few cia games.
7. I put rxinstaller.bin on my sd card
8. I went to the http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/cakes/?rxinstaller.bin using sysnand of course.
9. It gave me the error as browser crashed.
10. I went to settings>other settings>profile>Nintendo DS profile.

And..... then of course instead of the MSET exploit, the nintendo ds profile screen comes up. Did I do anything wrong?

don't forget you must downgrade mset (in sysnand) with rxtools before!!!

Best to go into rxTools menu (hold -R while rxTools boots) and downgrade MSET to 4.x if you are on an O3DS (XL)

You didn't ask him his firmware/rxTools version. If he doesn't have one of the latest nightlies the rxinstaller.bin won't work. :/

- Copy the rxTools folder on your sd card root.
- Copy the firmware.bin in rxTools/sys (on your sd card)
- Then use the link/qr code MrMandraque posted earlier.

No, if you are on 6.X you don't have to downgrade your mset. You must restore the original one, or the rxinstaller.bin won't work.

2 ways :
- Restore your nand backup (I hope you made one before installing rxTools)
- Use the downgrade option with the 6.X mset (only with the latest nightly, the spider link is : http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/cakes/?rxTools/sys/code.bin )

Oh god even more problems now. There is not Rxtools.dat in the latest one. I know it says moved to rxtools/sys but its not there.
