Hacking Sleep mode and Gateway Menu

Hello All,

Something that I always wondered about, ever since I started using Gateway. Can the console be put safely in sleep mode, while in the Gateway Menu? I have never tried this, I figured it probably would cause a system freeze. Only reason I would like to know is for cart swapping.

It won't freeze, it works as normally would. You can even remove/swap carts but I don't think you can use any cart other than GW red cart in GW emuNAND. You can also put in sleep mode while playing game but if game is ran from GW red cart then avoid removing the cart.

Thanks for the input, but I think you may be referring to Gateway Mode, not in the Gateway Menu. Guess I could always just try it.
