Hacking [Release] rxTools - Roxas75 3DS Toolkit [fw 2.0 - 9.2]

So I found a 2nd hand 2DS that has a 6.xU version in the wild a couple of weeks ago and I stupidly forgot to take note of the full version of the system. Can RXTools run on 6.x firmwares? Are there any firmware versions I need to avoid?

The last number after the hyphen needs to be at least 20 I believe. eg. 6.1.0-20

If you have DS cartridge which runs on your device(i.e. dstwo, r4i..), you can even if you can't run rxtools via browser.

rxTools_09-05-15_16-27.16755c0 would not boot for me via ninjahax 1.1b always boot to a black screen so i took the rxtools.3dsx and rxtools.smdh from rxTools_09-03-15_15-37.ec51443 then it booted for me am i doing somthing wrong?

Sounds NO to me. Oh, guy you may quote/tag the devs, like @AlbertoSONIC @motezazer. So they would not carelessly forget this report.

To be weird there is few modification, only within the rxTools not its launcher..
If you can compile it yourself, try revert this modification manually:

This is the only one deal with ninjahax, brahma.
And only for brahma/data/payload/source/main.c and other deals with "BOT_SCREEN2".
If you can boot into emunand with this faulty build, then it is surely this cause.

Oh yes this must be the reason. As the git version you listed, there are only 3 commits between ec51443 and 16755c0.
16755c0 is a merge commit. Its content b55b928 is a minor function edit, which should only have taken effects in rxTools menu.
So the bf9f72c is the cause. Problem located.

What is the process for getting FBI onto a N3DS? Is Gateway multirom the only method that currently works? I haven't found any way of injecting with reiNAND or rxTools that works, and from what I read the manual injection method does not work on the N3DS H&S app.

Hy, i launch the rxtools 2.6 and intalled downgrade mset, but i cant launch via settings. i dont have a flashcard and when i enter via browser, the code.bin dont glith,
I get an error but not the glitch , and does not work in settings . I also can not give boot in versions 3.0 through browser. My version is 6.1.0-9U do not know if I'm doing something wrong. just work boot 2.6 rxtools.

You may as well upgrade your sysnand to 9.0~9.2.
You can update with rxTools 2.5.2 (devmode) and sysupdater.

I dont think that would fix it though would it? I'm having the exact same issue as him and my FW is on 7.2.0

Cartridge-updated systems may have problem with CakeHax (implemented since 3.0 alpha).
If you fully update sysnand with cia files, there won't be problems.

Can confirm that, fully updated a 7.1.0-10E system (for fun i just downgraded it to 4.5.0-8E and then upgraded fully with sysupdater to 9.2.0-20E)
Everything works like a charm (booting with Cubic Ninja / Web Browser works without a problem)

It should be possible to make a "flashcart" nds file to be loaded with sudokuhax.

Yes to the second question, and yes, with FBI inject. Use rxTools launcher to install FBI on sysNAND. To install the cias pack, I think you just put it in an updates folder, should come in one though.

Don't ever use sysnand rxmode, but DEVMODE instead.

Meaning I'd need to get a DS cart before I can install rxTool on a 6.x 2ds then? Is there are cartless solution though?
