In my research to find a way for free, permanent (meaning cannot be patched/downloadable), and effective way to get HomeBrew, was sadly to no avail.
So, I have decided to dedicate my time and effort to create such, (with the help of others, of course.)
Below is the ONE question that I would like answered and things I need help with :)

Question:
What language is homebrew/gateway/etc made in?

Help wanted:
Coders for said language (Can be a beginner or not even know how to code at all! this will be a learning experience for everyone! Also, as many and as much free time as possible)
Testers (10 max + coders)
Ideas! (no hardware gateway? .cia installer? any idea you can think of! MUST be possible!)
Naming (after we choose an idea)

Spreading the word! (once we release the beta, of course)

You also need money to keep the server running bro

Anything that currently isn't available to do through homebrew. (open to ideas ATM)

Well... there's homebrew which is already possible. And then there's stuff like CFW that is only possible up to 9.2 for obvious reasons.

So I think you need to clarify a bit what your objectives are. Is it to do a specific homebrew? Or something else entirely?

A way to put homebrew on the 3ds without any external requirements (Cubic ninja, gateway, etc.)

Server? what server?

You want an "efficient way to get homebrew". Although you didn't specify what the hell you actually want, you're probably thinking of a site or a homebrew app that can download homebrew. Both of those options require a server to store things.

I don't even know anymore what you mean. You want my 3DS to be able to become a magical unicorn that soars the skies leaving a rainbow trail and transforms poop into chocolate?

That's impossible.

You seem to want a permanent jailbreak that can't ever be patched, and you don't want people to have to use hardware. This is not a thing that can occur.

The language question is weird, too. Do you think there's a programming language that launches hacking automatically?

OK, you know what?
Never mind.
No one post anymore, this was a terrible, terrible idea. Like every single other one of my ideas.

Never mind the project.

Sorry everyone.

You need a way to run them. There's only 3 ways as far as I know. The "scene"-created 3dsx format and the official .3ds and .cia format.
You can create a new format if you want but you'll still need an exploit to run them and they don't exactly grow in the trees.

So what you want to do is not only unlikely but not really that interesting for devs I would believe given the solutions already available at the moment and the way things actually work.

This reminds me of that one time I posted on 4chan.

Keep in mind that we have nothing against you or your idea (at least I personally). I'm just trying to explain to you how stuff actually works and why your idea isn't really that feasible.
