Hardware First wave a Majora's Mask 3DS's

In theory, every new 3ds xl Majoras mask 3ds, that was in the first wave, should have 9.0 or 9.2 firmware right? I found one for a good price and was just wondering.

That's right. 1000-1020 are safe but make sure it's not a returned one.

just found what you mean, i got a ips, as mine has good viewing angles, and the blacks are good

I have 2, and I haven't had a problem with either of them (except updating them, but that's not the issue).
