I bought games from g2a before they went full fee invasion and started charging for more than the usual. Last game I got for a friend was 6Eur. I ended up spending almost 9. I only buy from Steam now.

When did they start doing that? (it was a while ago i bought a game from there)

I got the game no longer than a week ago. As I am doing the Paypal checkout I get the following additional fees:

- G2A Shield (used to be into the shopping cart already)
- 22% VAT
- "Fees"
- "Paypal fees"

I don't believe for a moment they didn't pay any VAT up until now. They pumped the prices. Also, "fees"? And "Paypal fees"? Don't charge me more just because I use Paypal, since my "safe payment" doesn't mean shit without your stupid G2A shield anyway.

usually get them from humble bundle, specially since they provide both steam and drm free options for loads of games..
