I don't know if any resellers accept Paypal though, since Paypal doesn't allow that sort of transaction.

But yeah, you're far more likely to get a better deal & be able to use Paypal buying a used gateway off someone.

you can play rom backup in CIA format, CFW supports it. There's ways to install CFW without ds flashcart too, depending on the browser and firmware version.

If you're on 9.2 or lower & you don't mind installing all of your games to the internal SD, then you could shine the 3ds flashcart and just get something like a Acekard 3 for $10 to play your DS games.

If you'd rather drag and drop .3ds files, then yeah gateway.

Unless of course you're above 9.2, then you're stuck with Sky3ds.

im on 4.5, no ds flashcart that works [own a ttds], as above dont i need emunand to play games above 4.5? and isnt the only way to get emunand via gateway?pls help now im curious. i have a few microsd and regular sd.

Sky 3ds on 9.3+ is almost the same...

you don't actually need the Gateway red card to enter GW Menu. you just need a way to boot the launcher (either the Mset exploit or browser exploit or CN/OOT exploit depending on console/firmware). So after entering the menu, you can create emunand which can also be used by RxTools for example.

As for needing a GW card, not really if you don't want to use .3ds roms. You can install all the games as CIA and play them like that by using a CFW like RxTools


Guide steps for using browser exploit to boot into GW Menu:
Step 1:
Transfer the latest Gateway 3DS Launcher.dat (located inside the downloaded archive) onto your 3DS/2DS SD card with your PC, then insert the card into your 3DS/2DS.

Step 2:
Now, with your WIFI switched on, open the Web Browser on your 3DS/2DS (Blue Planetoid at the top of your Home Screen) and type in http://go.gateway-3ds.com


After having emunand, you just need to use a CFW. In your case, the best is probably RxTools as mentioned before.
