Hacking Installing MCET Exploit RXTools

Hey guys I have successfully installed cfw and I am currently running 7.2 SYSNAND 1.7567 internet browser version, EMUNAND is 9.9 everything is going good I can play games its amazing. However, I want to be able to launch the DSprofile MCET hack.

I successfully downgraded my MCET using rxtools to an exploitable version, my problem begins when I scan the QR code in this video guide i followed in minute 5:54. I have read and read and attempted other QRs, bookmarking the website. My code.bin is in the root of the SD(the one I DLD from here although ive tried many ive found online for MCET) No matter what I try it is always the same error. I get a message about a problem and me needing to restart my 3ds, no matter what I try I can't get this to load. Could somebody lend me a hand, I have googled for 6 hours tried many different things and I am exhausted(although I do have fun with this ) I am just looking for a solution. I can install CIA files if that is an option but my ultimate goal is to be able to load RXtools from the DSPROFILE hack. When I select DSPROFILE i just get a normal screen plus my 3ds never did what the one in the video did(man says it should flicker) Thank you guys for reading and hopefully someone can give me some tips.

Make sure you don't have the "NNID settings" option in your system settings. If you do, your system settings haven't been downgraded to 4.x or 6.x.

Mine does the same thing. I updated to 9.0.0U using sysupdater and Ninjhax 1.1/Spider works but MSET does not even when downgraded.

The latest code.bin work only with 6.X mset, not 4.X.

I just downgraded the MSET not the FW, Should I downgrade the Vram with the GATEWAY 3ds launcher? I also have an MSET USa file from the gateway3,3 beta

The 4.x one I had to check on RXtools. How would I go about getting MSET 6.X?

I downloaded it and made it into a cia but it never prompted me to specify the region in 3dnus I don't want to brick my console, It wasn't letting me download when I entered USA 0004001000021000 so I had to take off the USA and then it downloaded, but I am not sure if it is safe since I couldn't specify region.

Then you probably should have done some more research by the sounds of it. Hope everything works out. You should be able to install whatever MSET you need over-top of what's already there.

Dude get outa here with that I don't give a fuck if I brick my 3ds Im a grown man, I figured out my mistake. VerseHell I am all good thank you. Maximillous Ive been modding consoles since before you had braces on your teeth so get out of here with that arrogance. I got the xbox softmod,360 flash,ps3 cfw,wii 4.0 softmod,PSP cfw, Never made one single brick your not helpful. You should have noticed each region has is own titleid, that's why you don't have to type it.

The cia doesn't want to install through FBI. I noticed in FBI I could Install a MCET through there that came preconfigured, I tried that and now my dsprofile looks like its modded but I am getting the system reset message and my system reboots, Ideally I want to find a way to force install it. I am getting Description_inalid_combination error in FBI installer. I have the option to install MSET for bos 6.0 but I tried this and it just crashes my system in DS profile, although before it wouldnt even do that. Im desperate to get this CIA installing and I don't understand why it wont honestly

Edit:I had to switch location to install to the Nand and not the sd. Bricking is not a concern for me lol.(JK actually everytime it takes a while to turn on I get a little scared)

Use DevMenu, are you sure with FBI you actually are installing to NAND and not the SD?

Yea I fixed it. I installed it to the nand all is good, now I just need to get the actual dsprofile hacked installed.

RX tools Pasta3.0(rxTools_3.0b7_Gadorach) said your mset version is exploitable when i put B downgrade 5.x/6.x MSET. Downgrade isnt necessary. So i am 100% sure the cia worked out.
