Hacking BASIC client running homebrew

Petit Computer is basically a BASIC interpreter for the 3DS. It isn't as powerful as using actual homebrew writing stuff like ctrulib.

Also there was a version of this on the DSi.

While technically he's right, this isn't what most people consider homebrew because it doesn't run on the metal.

Still, PTC is pretty cool, not knocking it.
So is this available in the eshop on all regions?

And will this accept qBasic or just basic?
It's a custom BASIC called 'Smilebasic'. The language was never standardized like C.
Your first question, eventually.

Nononono not smileBASIC, just petit computer.
Oh you're taking about the old one? It's been taken down for the 3ds but you can still snag it from the DSi eshop. It's possible to system transfer it to 3ds I believe though.

Yeah, that's true. No scene release as far as I know which is surprising.
Dsiware always gets the shaft. Poor little things.

Well up whenever PBT came out we couldn't play dsi, now that we can I think the scene might pick up some more. Personally with a dstwo it was never an issue to me but it's nice for others

Petit Computer (DSi) is no longer available on the eShop. But, if you happened to get a copy of it, you can play my port of Megaman 2 (also comes with a level editor).
Easily the best ptc project not from Japan. Maybe a premade save w/ MM2 could be crafted for those who don't want to scan QRs for an hour. DSiware injection allows that.
