EmuNAND? Why not update your EmuNAND to 9.4 or 9.5 on your n3ds? That way you can use your amiibo.

Before booting into emunand via Gateway, hold, I believe UP on the D-PAD when booting into your emunNAND to tell the Gateway to not block updates. Begin a game of something like Code Name Steam from your Gateway card using the select menu. It will ask if you want to update. As long as you are 10000% sure you are in emuNAND, it will update your emuNAND to a version that supports amiibos

Do not update to 9.8 on the n3DS because it will no longer work with the Gateway. This is why I recommend using Code Name Steam. Enjoy!

You can download the 9.5 FW using 3dnus & install it with DevMenu / BBM.

Edit: In 3dnus all you need to do is put 9.5.0-23 - USA - Check N3ds and download.

Example of Amiibo being used for anyone who was confused. Since Wi-Fi matches don't give you the option to upload an amiibo, from my experience, it's safe to assume they ARE NOT compatible with online matches

I don't have a list but if you are on a n3ds and want to go up to a higher firmware on emunand that's supported by Gateway I'd go with the game I had mentioned as I can personally verify it works and is safe and will give you Amiibo support in emunand on an n3ds.

Has anyone got SSB with 1.0.8 update (legit CIA) working on O3DS with Firmlaunch, I keep getting a black screen no matter what I try, I know Firmlaunch has booted ok because the eShop spoofer does not work.

I've gotten smash to run on the O3DS on 4.2 using MSET and rxtools/emunand 9.8.

Weird, I updated using the codename steam cia file I had on my N3DS and EmuNAND no longer loads anymore, I definitely updated Emunand as sysnand is 9.0 still and works completely fine

You made sure it was for your region, right?

The only thing I can think of is you need to update the launcher file for Gateway on your internal microSD card

Yeh the game is certified as: "Code Name - S.T.E.A.M. EUR-RF" so yeh, it must be the fact that I haven't gotten the most up to date launcher, I'll try that now

Ok I tried the latest launhcer file, EmuNAND still doesn't boot up even though I updated the launcher and updated using Code name Steam EUR cia-RF


Edit: I haven;t done the NVRAM yet, would that make thjings easier or should the old Zelda swap method still work for newer versions of emuNands/Newer launchers

Not sure what you mean but 3ds emunand is at 9.8 atm
